All of them have been developed taking advantage of the mineral-medicinal components of the sulphurous water from the Areatza spring.  

Calcic sulfurated waters (like those of the Paila type) usually have a higher mineralization (their components, except calcium, are almost the same as sodium waters). They are meso and hypothermal (superficial and cold). They have a lower radioactive richness than sodium waters. Their origin is related to secondary deposits, mineralizing by dissolution first and then reduction as they pass through the elements covering the secondary terrains.
